FIGO bursaries are designed to help delegates from low-income countries and countries experiencing ongoing conflict overcome financial barriers and attend FIGO Montréal 2027. Successful applicants will receive a USD $1,000 stipend, paid after attending Congress, to contribute towards travel, accommodation, registration and other expenses. Bursaries are awarded based on financial need, the applicant’s contribution to Congress through their accepted abstract submission, the potential impact of attending on their professional development, and the wider opportunity to advance women’s health and rights beyond the individual applicant. By helping remove financial barriers to attendance, FIGO aims to ensure that a diverse range of voices, experiences and expertise can be represented at Congress.
The deadline for bursary applications is 23:59 EDT on 29 October 2026. You will need your abstract submission number to apply.
More information on FIGO Montréal 2027 bursaries and fellowships will be available soon.
