Prof. Moshe Hod is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Prof. Hod serves as a visiting Professor at the University of Florence, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Careggi University Hospital, Florence, Italy.

Prof. Moshe Hod is the Chair of the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FIGO), Femtech – New Technologies and Women’s Health Committee .

Prof. Hod is a Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (RCOG).

• Prof. Hod was the Chief Medical Advisor on Perinatal Medicine, Clalit Health Service, Tel Aviv, Israel.
• Prof. Hod was the founder and Director, Women’s Health Care Center, “Beilinson in Bat-Yam”, Bat-Yam, Israel.

He was the chair of FIGO Pregnancy and Non Communicable Disease Committee (PNCDC) as well as past chair of FIGO’s Working Group on GDM and past member of FIGO’s Board of Directors.

• Prof. Moshe Hod was the past President of the European Association of Perinatal Medicine (EAPM) and served as a member of its Executive Board of Directors.
• He served as a member of the Executive Board of Directors, the International Association of Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Groups (IADPSG).
• Prof. Moshe Hod was the Chairman of the Board of the Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group (DPSG) of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and as a member of the postgraduate educational committee of the EASD.
• Prof. Moshe Hod was the Regional Director for Asia and Africa, The International Diabetes in Pregnancy Working Party, Hyperglycemia and Adverse Pregnancy Outcome (HAPO) Study – NIH Study.
