The Montréal Convention Centre (Palais des Congrès de Montréal) is a major international convention venue recognised for hosting large-scale scientific and professional meetings. Established in 1983, it has extensive experience in delivering international congresses across a wide range of disciplines. 

The venue offers modern facilities designed to support conferences, exhibitions, academic exchange and showstopping events at an international level. It is located in central Montréal, within proximity of public transport and key city services. As one of the first convention centres in the Americas with a carbon-neutral building, sustainability is embedded in the venue’s operations through ongoing environmental initiatives, including responsible resource management and measures aimed at reducing environmental impact in line with contemporary event standards. 

The Montréal Convention Centre will provide the infrastructure and services to support the delivery of FIGO Montréal 2027, ensuring a professional environment for scientific exchange and collaboration.

All entrances are equipped with access ramps and automatic doors, there are elevators, and every room is equipped with listening systems for the hearing impaired. Reserved parking spaces for permit holders are available at the Viger parking lot, accessible by Rue Chenneville. You can apply here for complimentary wheelchair reservation:

Place‑d’Armes station (orange line): 

Located directly beneath the Montréal Convention Centre, this is the easiest access point with an underground connection into the venue. Just a 2–3-minute walk (100-200m) from the bus stop. 

Place‑des‑Arts station (green line): 

About a 10–12-minute walk (800–1,200m) northwest along the famous “underground city”.

Several STM bus routes stop within a few minutes’ walk of the Montréal Convention Centre. 

On Saint‑Urbain / Place‑d’Armes (2–3 minute walk): 
Lines: 55, 129, 361, 363, 365, 80, 150

On De Bleury / Viger (3 minute walk):
Served mainly by lines 55 & 129, among others
